Let’s talk about photography during solo travel. I thought it was going to be a challenge to take photos with myself in it. Turns out it was pretty easy! . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ My Nikon remote was my best friend this trip. I would just put my backpack on a flat surface, lean my camera against it, point at it with the remote and voilà, I could take as many photos as I wanted. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
2️⃣ When there was no flat surface to put my backpack on, or if I wanted to capture the whole scenery, I would attach my GorillaPod to a pole or something similar. The pod is small and flexible, very easy to carry it around.⠀⠀
3️⃣ If I didn’t feel like setting this all up or just wanted to take a quick shot, then I would simply ask other travelers to take a photo of me. Usually I looked around for people who carried a DSLR as well, as I feel that it’s easier to approach someone who is also into photography. . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
