⏱ 26 January 2020, Bratislava ???????? .
When I told people that I was going to Bratislava for my first solo trip, most reacted surprised and wanted to know why. Well, the truth is, I went to Bratislava because it gave me the chance to visit a new country AND also to mix Vienna into the same trip. I didn’t know that much about Bratislava before going there. But I am glad I do now! What I found there was a charming and quirky city. Charming because of its picturesque Old Town, full of pastel colored churches, palaces and towers, which can all be seen from the castle on the hill Quirky because of its futuristic architecture – such as the UFO Tower and the Slovak Radio Building -, feel good statues and turning public toilets into bars

Pictured here in the background is the Michaels Tower, which is part of the last remaining city gate of Bratislava. Not only does it look pretty from the streets, it also offers a nice view over the Old Town!
