After Bratislava, I continued my solo trip in Vienna. A short one-hour bus ride brought me from one capital to the other. The first being small and cozy, the latter being grand in every sense!

The architecture in Vienna is so elegant, with each building looking more beautiful than the next. Still, the Vienna State Opera manages to stand out. It was raining hard the first time I saw it, but it immediately caught my eye. So you can imagine how happy I was when I saw the sun shining on the State Opera the next day

Tip: for the best view over the State Opera, go up the platform of the Albertina Museum. It’s free to walk here. I heard the inside of the State Opera is also worth a visit. You will see it if you attend an opera show of course, but you can also book a tour just to visit the building. #travelfavorita #casaboritaaustria
