Thailand was country #40 for me. Forty countries I’ve packed and cried and laughed and gotten sick and lost and confused and had some of the best moments of my life in. I’m so, so thankful. I’m thankful for so much I don’t even know where to begin. I’m thankful for my family and friends that encourage me and love me and pick up the phone when I’m cry faced and frustrated or lost (often) or having an anxiety attack for no reason. .
.
I’m thankful for my jobs and my ever gracious bosses that know I need these trips to function. And work around my free-spirited soul to let me stay employed and find my happy. .
.
I’m thankful for the kindness of strangers that have picked me up when I was walking in a place I shouldnt, or picked up my glasses that I didn’t know I dropped, or sat outside and talked with me and helped me get to my bus station when I was having a breakdown. .
.
And today, I’m thankful that places like these sanctuaries and people exist to care for these gentle creatures that deserve to be loved and treated kindly, and dedicate their lives to helping save these creatures. .

I had no idea what this trip would bring, or my next 40, but I know it makes me the happiest in the world and will always be a part of my life. .

Thanks for following along my sweet friends. Having cheerleaders along the way has helped me when I’ve doubted myself, or my geographical capabilities.
