As soon as I was left alone I could feel the tears welling up behind my eyes so I looked for a distraction. I turned around to see the leaves were a blend of bright orange and red over the lake. It was plain shitty out…a spitting rain and the fog was sitting super low but despite the sadness and vulnerability Iâve felt the past few days I saw something beautiful in the mix.
