Curiosidade: Chichén Itzá é um complexo mundialmente conhecido de ruínas maias na Península de Iucatão, no México. A enorme pirâmide com degraus é conhecida como El Castillo e domina a cidade antiga de 6,5 quilómetros quadrados, que prosperou de 600 d.C. até ao século XIII. Curiosity: Chichen Itza is a world-known complex of Mayan ruins on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. The huge pyramid with steps is known as El Castillo and overlooks the old town of 6.5 square kilometers, which thrived from 600 AD until the 13th century. The graphic stone sculptures survived in the structures, such as in the field of ball game, in the Temple of the Warriors and in the Wall of Skulls. Sound and light shows at night illuminate the sophisticated geometry of buildings.
