Depending on which part of the Gambia you’ll visit, build houses look different. Where there are bigger rectangle shaped buildings in the western parts of the country, these get a lot smaller and square in the mid regions. Venturing even further to the east part of the Gambia, buildings all of a sudden change to a rounded shape.

I’ve been told that the reason for this is the different tribes that settled on those parts.
