Even though the sub-tropical climate gives Gambia an average daytime temperature of 32 Celsius, most of the Gambian people inland travel by walking or by a bike. Even the tasks that needs to be done, like getting water or wood usually involves a long hike or bike ride.
Although there is no organized public transport, it is possible to wait for multiple transport vans which will pick you up after raising your hand. The probability that youâll need to wait a long time for them to arrive is high tough. They do not ride on organized time scheduleâs.
The climate of Gambia has two distinct seasons. The dry season which generally starts in October and ends around mid-June and the rainy seasons that obviously starts after the dry and ends before the dry season.
