House shopping in Singapore, should we go with the Baby Blue or Lilac?
We just love these pastel colored Peranakan terrace houses in Singapore’s Joo Chiat/Katong area 10 minutes out from the city centre.
OUR TIPS ↠ It doesn’t get too crowded here so you can take pics anytime of the day. Even if there are other people when you come there’s plenty of pretty pastel houses for everyone. What amazed us was how nice the locals driving by here were – they slowed down so they wouldn’t get into the frame when we were taking pics from across the road. We were blown away by this random kindness by people we didn’t even know. The world needs more of this Also, try the famous 328 Katong Laksa while you’re here – it’s Gordan Ramsay approved..
