Took us a hot second to realize that “towns” on an Iceland map are often just one to two homes and then the next town is up. And I’m #oldschool so I’m all about the map (esp when the GPS you paid for didn’t work).

Everyone always asks about the car situation. When in Iceland, ALWAYS rent the car. It is the single biggest piece of advice I’d offer.
