Sunset at the Great Torii…looking back at my Spring Japan 2018 adventures. We took the bullet train also known as Shinkansen from Kyoto to Miyajima, estimate distant 400km in and another ferry ride, almost 3hrs of journey just in time to see this beautiful sunset scene. My heart was racing from the adrenaline view and ran from the jetty. The breath taking view seem to consume all of us who are watching the giant light bulb slowly descending into the calm waters. Truly amazing. For those who have the JR pass, this is well worth to use it.
