The Dades Gorge is a valley heavily populated with Berber villages. The villages, palmeries, Dades River and granite rock faces are picturesque, and the rock formations are fascinating. The Gorge ends in a dramatic twisting, winding road out of the steep-sided valley. At sunset, the mountainside turns golden brown, which is a magnificent spectacle to end the day.
