This is the one of the only pictures I’ve taken so far on this trip. I guess cause it’s more work than a vaca. In the middle of the Mojave Desert, my dad and I parked his RV off some back country road where you couldn’t find one streetlight or human. We had gotten lost, and decided to just call it a night. I woke up with this, and felt nothing but grateful. .

Before this semi-unexpected trip (isn’t that how most of mine work out?) I was all of overwhelmed and discouraged and maybe even a bit depressed. I won’t say I’m still not a bit of those things, but something about getting to step back from life in any form and see things from a different angle can really help. .

I still have no idea where I’m going, what I’ll be doing, in 2 weeks or 2 months, but I’m truckin’ on. With hopefully a few more sunrises like these awaiting my future.
