Tumling is a tiny village in the Eastern Himalayas, located at an altitude of 9,600ft and on the way to Sundakphu.

There are probably only 10-12 Nepali families who live here. There are also a few private lodges and huts that have come up here to cater to tourists and trekkers heading towards Sundakphu.

During winters there is heavy snowfall in Tumling and gets covered with thick icy snow. Tumling is actually a part of Nepal although there is no restriction for Indians or foreigners to visit the place .
