Venice is one of my favourite places in Europe. I could always spend months exploring the Italian cities and countryside. The Roman ruins, architecture, differences between regions, vibrant colors and amazing food. Venice is also one of the most travelled places in the world, so if you are looking for a quieter spot to sit and admire the churches, bridges and canals – Burano and Murano are great options. Littered with restaurants, bars and shops these islands provide a quieter Venetian experience.
