One of our best days on #creta was our last day where the kids got to ride a donkey to the top of a mountain to the birth place of #zeus . He was born in #psychrocave just outside of #heraklion . Legend says that Zeus’s mom had to hide him from his father who was known to consume his own children. Can’t imagine growing up in a dark creepy cave can you?
The kids loved the cool story and the cave.
