I used to walk to the Roosevelt station every day when I lived in the South Loop and let me tell you, from someone who had just moved to Chicago and experiencing one of the worst winters in history (2013) that Roosevelt/Michigan Ave intersection was the worst ️. Not only because it’s a large intersection but it’s also right there by the lake and there’s pretty much nothing blocking the wind….That was one hell of a way to experience the “windy” city…
