My time in Italy felt so short but I know it’s a country I would go back to in a heartbeat. Not everything went as planned but having my sister with me made me feel safe in a country in which I didn’t know the language. I had been lucky until that point in which everyone I encountered knew English, but backpacking through parts of Italy that didn’t was a bit of a challenge. Knowing Spanish helped- my Sorrento mamma and I would basically speak gibberish to each other and and in the end I think I won her over right @chachabely ?
