FIFA 2026 spans 16 host cities across three countries. Whether you’re heading to one venue or following the tournament through multiple legs, knowing what to expect in terms of mobile coverage, Wi-Fi, and data will make every match day run more smoothly.
One eSIM covers all 16 cities — the BNESIM North America Regional plan works across the USA, Canada, and Mexico on a single activation. Here’s what you need to know about connectivity in each host city.
United States Host Cities
Eleven of the 16 FIFA 2026 venues are in the USA. All are served by the major national carriers — AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon — with excellent 4G LTE coverage and expanding 5G in most stadium areas. The BNESIM eSIM runs on AT&T and T-Mobile in the USA, giving you strong coverage across all 11 host cities.
New York / New Jersey | USA — MetLife Stadium
The final is here. Expect maximum congestion on match days. Download your ticket and route offline in advance. NJ Transit runs special match-day services from Penn Station.
Los Angeles | USA — SoFi Stadium & Rose Bowl
Two venues, spread across the metro. Rideshare and Metro Rail are your best options — traffic on match days is severe. 5G coverage is strong across LA. Download maps for both venue areas.
Dallas | USA — AT&T Stadium
One of the hottest venues in the tournament — June temperatures regularly exceed 35°C. Expect strong network coverage; AT&T Stadium is AT&T’s home ground. Plan for heat: carry water and stay hydrated.
San Francisco Bay Area | USA — Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara
Cooler and more unpredictable weather than most US venues. The Caltrain and VTA light rail serve the stadium area. Good 5G coverage across the Bay.
Miami | USA — Hard Rock Stadium
Hot and humid throughout June. The venue is well-served by Metrobus and Brightline rail. Strong 4G/5G coverage across the greater Miami area.
Atlanta | USA — Mercedes-Benz Stadium
The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is in downtown Atlanta — well connected by MARTA rail. Excellent connectivity. Download MARTA’s app for easy transit navigation.
Seattle | USA — Lumen Field
One of the milder US venues — expect comfortable June weather. The stadium is walkable from downtown and well-served by Link Light Rail. Strong coverage throughout the city.
Kansas City | USA — Arrowhead Stadium
A dedicated American football stadium adapted for World Cup play. Limited transit options to the venue — rideshare is the most practical approach. Download Uber or Lyft in advance.
Houston | USA — NRG Stadium
Hot and potentially humid. NRG Stadium has METRORail access. Excellent network coverage across Houston. Carry sunscreen and a refillable water bottle.
Philadelphia | USA — Lincoln Financial Field
Well connected by SEPTA rail — take the Broad Street Line or Market-Frankford Line. Good 4G/5G coverage. Philadelphia’s city centre is very walkable for pre-match exploring.
Boston | USA — Gillette Stadium, Foxborough
The furthest from Boston city centre — Foxborough is a 30-minute drive south. Match-day train services from South Station are available. Download the MBTA app.
Canada Host Cities
Both Canadian venues are in major, well-connected cities with modern mobile infrastructure. The BNESIM eSIM covers Canada via Bell, Telus, and Sasktel as part of the North America Regional plan — no separate activation needed when you cross the US–Canada border.
Toronto | Canada — BMO Field
One of Canada’s most walkable cities. BMO Field is served by the TTC streetcar on Lakeshore Boulevard. Excellent 4G and 5G coverage throughout the city. The BNESIM eSIM runs on Bell and Telus in Toronto, both of which provide strong coverage in the venue area.
Vancouver | Canada — BC Place
BC Place is in downtown Vancouver — walking distance from most central accommodation. SkyTrain provides fast links from the airport and surrounding areas. Excellent 5G coverage in the city centre. One of the coolest and most pleasant host cities in the tournament.
Mexico Host Cities
Mexico’s three host cities all have solid mobile coverage. While Telcel dominates the country overall, the BNESIM eSIM runs on Movistar in Mexico, which provides reliable coverage across all three host cities. No SIM swap needed when you cross from the USA into Mexico.
Mexico City (CDMX) | Mexico — Estadio Azteca
The Azteca is one of the most iconic venues in World Cup history — it hosted the 1970 and 1986 finals. Located in the south of the city; take Metro Line 2 to Universidad station. Altitude (2,240m) can affect visitors — stay hydrated and give yourself time to acclimatise. The BNESIM eSIM uses Movistar in Mexico, with reliable coverage throughout CDMX.
Guadalajara | Mexico — Estadio Akron
A modern stadium in the Zapopan district, west of the city centre. The SITEUR light rail connects the centre to nearby areas. Reliable Movistar coverage across the city — the network the BNESIM eSIM uses in Mexico. Guadalajara has a vibrant food and culture scene — give yourself time to explore.
Monterrey | Mexico — Estadio BBVA
One of Mexico’s most modern stadiums, located in San Nicolás de los Garza. Good Movistar coverage across the city — the network the BNESIM eSIM connects to in Mexico. Monterrey is one of Mexico’s most business-oriented cities — expect reliable infrastructure and connectivity.
Connectivity Tips That Apply to Every Host City
• Download offline maps for each city before you arrive. Network speeds drop significantly in and around stadiums on match days.
• Pre-load your match ticket in the FIFA app while you’re on Wi-Fi. Don’t rely on loading it at the gate.
• The BNESIM eSIM switches between US, Canadian, and Mexican networks automatically as you cross borders — there’s nothing to do on your end.
• Most FIFA 2026 venues will have in-stadium Wi-Fi, but expect slow speeds during peak capacity. Use your BNESIM eSIM for anything time-critical.
• In Mexico, Google Translate with the offline Spanish pack is worth downloading — it’s useful at smaller food stalls and local venues.
• Check the Applicazione BNESIM to monitor your data usage, especially if you’re moving between multiple cities over a long trip.
Every host city in FIFA 2026 is ready for the tournament. Your BNESIM eSIM is ready for all of them.
