This year is the 20th annual parade hosted by the LAX Coastal Area Chamber of Commerce. Beginning at 11 am, over 1,000 participants will parade through the streets to represent this year’s theme: “America, Better Together.” People from all over the country will represent their cities, including people from Honolulu, Kitty Hawk, Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, and several more.
After the parade, be sure to check out the massive block party at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles. This family-friendly event covers eight full blocks and will feature live music, a variety of games and activities, dozens of food vendors, and more. The party is scheduled from 3-9:30 pm, and there will be a fireworks show immediately following the free event.
