Evening walk in Gobi Desert. The Khongor sanddunes are 180 km long and at the highest point about 300m high. The inhabitants name the imposing dunes ”singing dunes” due to the noise made by the wind when it moves the sand or when you slide down on your butt 🙂 Beyond the dunes, the steppe extends as far as the eye can see.
