[Happy Girls Day] Today, March 3rd, is Girls Day in Japan. People celebrated their daughters’ health and blessings by putting up displays of dolls dressed up in ancient court costumes. I found this display at a house in Katsuura city yesterday and couldn’t take my eyes off the top dolls. Definitely this house has kids . Katsuura city has the biggest girls day festival in Japan with 30,000 dolls shown all over the town.
