Technically, I was back from the mountains three weeks ago.
However, it’s now that I feel I have returned,
Returned to the routine life,
Returned to the desk job,
Returned to the tough decisions and difficult people,
My mind no longer meanders in those winding roads,
And I really really miss that,
I don’t miss the mountains,
I miss what mountains make of me,
I miss being wild and free,
I miss that feeling of forgetting every inch of my life in the city and
Just being myself,
Being lost and found at the same time,
Not a thing to worry about,
So carefree and so full of life,
Surviving on few hours of sleep and still having that mountain glow!

This picture was taken when we were waiting for the road to clear on our way to Kaza,
There were almost 200 people waiting there,
Not a single line of worry on anyone’s face,
It was a picnic scene, people playing music and dancing,
Some capturing the beauty around,
Some had even set up tents and were relaxing,
Some just chitchatting while watching the sun go down,
This is the carefree attitude that I miss,
I want to have these experiences over and over again

Is it too early to say that I want to go back to the mountains and sink in that feeling again ?
