The must see place when visiting Casablanca is the Hassan II Mosque. Builty partly on the sea and named after King Hassan, it is the largest mosque in Africa and the 5th largest in the world. It is the only mosque that non-Muslims can visit in Morocco. Make sure though that you have your shoulders and knees covered if you decide to take the tour inside the mosque.
