To get from the north-western part of the Gambia to the north-eastern part, we had to take a boat over the Gambia river straight through one of the biggest nature parks of this beautiful country.
Party time for me as photographer you would say! A big chance to see crocodiles, hippos, 5 different kind of monkeys and a lot of tropical birds. Well, I can say that the crocodiles and the hippos were probably on a well-deserved holiday to the Netherlands or so it seems. I did not see any of those whole day.
What we did see however, are a family of wild chimpanzees (Photos coming at an later stage), a lot of birds and eventually, after a good 4 hours of sailing this beautiful setting while the day was turning into night.
