Visiting the Sahara Desert will probably be one of the most incredible experiences of your life. If you are visiting Morocco in the middle of summer the temperatures will be high but it will be amazing nonetheless. You can get into the Sahara from several places in Morocco, but the easiest will probably be via Marrakech and Merzouga. A trip to the Desert can vary in time, but most will include at least a night sleeping under the stars and enjoying some local cuisine. Don’t think that being in the desert will mean the quality of food will be lacking – somehow a magnificent Moroccan feast will appear out of the tents for everyone to enjoy! It will almost seem like a culinary miracle. You will sing, dance, eat and can even sandboard down the dunes of the Sahara. It can be quite surreal!
