You can only really take a photo from this angle by taking one of the many, many boat tours on the stretch of river running through the very centre of Ghent. It was the first thing we did upon arrival, after eating lunch and checking into our hostel. We had the perfect still warm autumn evening to catch our first glimpses of this beautiful little city.
