Hong Kong, July 19, 2026 — BNESIM, a six-time winner of the “World’s Best Travel SIM Provider” award at the World Travel Tech Awards, has announced a partnership with Join UP! Türkiye, part of Join UP!, one of Europe’s leading tour operators. Under the agreement, Join UP! Türkiye joins BNESIM’s newly launched program for tour operators, through which travelers receive free global eSIM connectivity as part of their trip.
The program is part of a wider commitment by BNESIM to invest €2 million in free eSIMs for tour operators worldwide, with an allocation of up to €100,000 in connectivity per partner. Participating operators can gift travelers an eSIM that works on arrival in dozens of destinations, removing the need to buy local SIM cards or rely on roaming.
For Join UP!, the partnership adds a connectivity benefit for its travelers without changes to its existing tour packages or booking systems. BNESIM supplies the eSIMs, the distribution platform, and customer support at no cost to the operator. Travelers who activate an eSIM through Join UP! can continue to use BNESIM after their trip, and the operator earns a share of up to 20% on future top-ups and eSIM purchases made by those customers.
How the program works
Tour operators in the program can distribute eSIMs through three channels: manual activation by staff at retail counters or departure points, automated delivery via API integration within the booking flow, or unique voucher codes that travelers redeem online. Each partner also receives a co-branded page with a personalized URL and automatic tracking. According to BNESIM, operators can typically move from application to their first gifted eSIM in under two weeks.
